The top shelf of the Trapper Arne inventory displays some of these large, productive JUMBO traps. The JUMBO trap looks just like its smaller cousin, the Trapper, but it can hold twice as many crayfish inside. Built with sturdier wire, it is also surprisingly rugged. Like the Trapper, the JUMBO is equipped with effective escape stoppers, making this trap a good candidate for overnight sessions. Thanks to its size, this trap is best suited for lakes where the crayfish population is high.
Below the shelf with JUMBO traps, you will also see the popular TRAPPER and several JACKPOT traps together with a few discontinued BLUEBOYS. Hanging from the edge of a shelf are several DIPPER traps.
When used in an unusually well populated lake, Trapper Arne once had difficulty lifting the trap into his boat. It was that full of crayfish.
